Responsibilities
- Administers database utilities
- Maintains the organization's databases across multiple platforms and computing environments
- Applies basic understanding of relational database concepts and query languages to design required summary or aggregation tables
- Collaborates with technology/infrastructure staff to identify data relationships and functional requirements
- Analyzes and resolves routine issues related to information flow and content
- Maintains database support tools, database tables and dictionaries and recovery and back-up procedures
- Monitors database performance and runs standard reports to identify potential issues
- Performs database maintenance tasks such as data entry, backups, and archival processes
- Adds, modifies, or removes database accounts based on user requests
- Supports database team with data import/export tasks and simple SQL queries
- Aids in documenting database procedures, policies, and configurations
- Maintains system logs for database-related errors and escalates issues as needed
- Supports troubleshooting database performance or connectivity issues and resolves routine issues related to information flow and content
- Assists in maintaining database backups and verifies successful completion of backup jobs
- Maintains database support tools, tables, and dictionaries
- Maintains database inventory and tracks updates to database versions and configurations
- Coordinates with internal teams and support ticketing systems to address routine database requests
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year of relevant experience required
Qualifications
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Skills
- Basic understanding of relational database concepts and query languages
- Ability to analyze and resolve routine issues related to information flow and content
- Experience with database maintenance tasks such as data entry, backups, and archival processes
- Knowledge of system logs and ability to escalate issues
- Experience with database support tools, tables, and dictionaries
- Ability to document database procedures, policies, and configurations
- Experience with database inventory management and tracking updates to database versions and configurations

Pay
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
