Data Services Specialist

Position Summary

Data Services Specialist will provide technical, general, and professional support to the internal and external clients of the bank. The Data Services Specialist is involved in daily operations of the following Data Services: ACH Origination and processing, item capture and balancing of all posting items, interfacing of various files with the core system, statement production, return processing, balancing of ATM/ITM’s, wire processing and remote deposit capture.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide production and distribution of various bank-generated forms, notices, statements, files, reports, etc. of account activity.
• Verify successful completion of previous night’s update as well as verify that the day’s work is ready for that evening’s update prior to leaving for the day.
• Support sales and service efforts through quality service and making referrals on appropriate bank services.
• Participate in bank-sponsored events as outlined in financial institution’s “Community Events Program”.
• Perform additional duties as they become assigned or apparent. This may require cross training when needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Two years of experience in banking or a similar professional environment, with a heavy emphasis on customer service and problem resolution.
