About the role

The Senior Account Executive for Higher Education Data Platforms leads strategic sales engagements across Northern California Universities, including the UC System. This role involves driving enterprise-wide data modernization initiatives and understanding the unique governance, procurement, and stakeholder structures within public and private universities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and deliver Oracle’s end-to-end cloud products and solutions across IaaS/PaaS pillars via private or public cloud.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to support account sales and business development strategies.
  • Engage appropriate partners to meet customer specifications and become a trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers.
  • Drive company strategy into assigned accounts and ensure the completion of company sales programs in the assigned territory.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals for both cloud solutions and on-prem solutions.
  • Travel frequently as needed.
  • Provide direction and mentorship to others as a leading contributor.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
