About the role
This position is responsible for new account development and/or growing existing accounts in Houston/Harris County, Texas and Dallas County, Texas, specifically for State & Local Government.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and deliver Oracle’s end-to-end Data Platform and cloud products and solutions across PaaS and IaaS pillars via private or public cloud.
- Work with the sales team to support account sales and business development strategies.
- Engage appropriate partners to meet customer specifications.
- Become a trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers.
- Drive company strategy into assigned accounts.
- Pursue sales opportunities according to company methodologies and processes.
- Ensure company sales programs are known and completed in assigned territory, including personal follow-up and engagement in selected opportunities.
- Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals for both cloud solutions and on-prem solutions.
- Travel frequently as needed.
Qualifications
- Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
- Advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
- 5+ years relevant work experience.
- BS/BA preferred.
