AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Responsibilities
- Act as a primary resolver for your support team, skilled at troubleshooting one or more operating systems
- Troubleshoot and solve all but the most complex infrastructure issues
- Escalate issues to the appropriate resolver groups when necessary
- Create and maintain documentation on technologies you support
- Convey SOPs to junior staff
- Understand all aspects of the equipment you support
- Make decisions and innovate independently, while also taking direction when given and paying attention to all details
- Execute small projects on your own and work with your manager in planning and executing larger local projects
- Act as an escalation point for junior technicians
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
- 1+ years of computer hardware experience, including troubleshooting and repairing experience
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
- Must be a US citizen
Additional Information
- Position may include rotating shifts, 3, 4, or 5 day/night work weeks, and may change based on the needs of the business
- Travel may be required up to 10% of the time
- This position will fill an opening at one of multiple separate sites

Pay
- 33.00 - 58.00 USD hourly
