Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of the day-to-day operation of the Control Room and its interactions with the lottery and vendors to ensure continuous system up-time and the highest level of operational efficiency.
• Ensure control room operates in a continuous and trouble-free manner.
• Troubleshoot problems through shift leads and Computer Operators
• Coordinate and schedule Computer Operators, direct work, and evaluate operational performance
• Maintain inventory and order supplies when necessary
• Ensure performance plans, memos, and reports are distributed, understood, utilized and made available to all Computer Operators
• Assist in revising or establishing new systems to improve productivity and computer efficiency.
• Develop procedures and control mechanisms to improve operations and reduce operational errors.
• Interface daily with customers and vendors.
• Monitor quality assurance and security of data.
• Ensure daily production of systems to include software and hardware changes and serving as client liaison.
• Define and perform verification that the test process has been performed correctly, analyze results and recommend test process improvements.
• Monitor, track and manage the configuration, accessing delivery process of software coding for the lottery--including games, parameters, odds and claims.
• Verify and analyze the accuracy and quality of the hardware and software products through maintenance, attention to detail and work environment.
• Provide recommendations to manager for systems needs and all external and internal factors related to the control room.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Years Of Experience: 2-4 years. Preferred: Basic understanding of lottery operations including systems, sales, retailer network management, POS (including wagers, validations, messages), game features, procurement and administration.

Technical knowledge operating systems utilities used to diagnose and identify hardware and software problems and failures. Success Profile: Leading Complexity, Leading People, Leading the Business, Leading Self.

Pay

The estimated starting compensation range is $40,887 - $115,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable. Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
