Data Center Security Manager, DC Security

About the role

The Data Center Security Manager (DSM) will join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team to help manage and improve site security operations in our data centers. This role involves managing physical security operations, developing post orders, defining security procedures, handling site incidents, working with security equipment, participating in construction projects, and driving day-to-day process improvement activities while managing vendors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent deployment of all required security policies and procedures.
• Participate in recurring site audits, reviews, and testing of new security technologies.
• Manage physical security operations and develop security procedures.
• Handle site incidents and work with security equipment.
• Participate in construction projects and drive process improvement activities.
• Oversee security sub-contractors providing guards, electronic security systems, door construction, door repair, fencing, and access controls.
• Create and implement emergency planning programs and physical security countermeasures.
• Drive campaigns to reduce nuisance alarms.
• Work with workflow ticketing systems and extract performance metrics.

Requirements

• Experience acting as a Program Security Officer, Security Specialist, or Security Manager, including interpreting and implementing requirements within personnel, industrial, and physical security disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs such as Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems (e.g., LENEL or C-cure).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience driving campaigns to reduce nuisance alarms.
• 3+ years of experience working with workflow ticketing and extracting performance metrics.
• 4+ years of experience overseeing security sub-contractors (guards, electronic security systems, door construction/repair, fencing, access controls).
• 4+ years of experience creating and implementing emergency planning programs and physical security countermeasures.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in a professional work setting.
• Resilient leadership skills and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment.

Pay

Base salary range: $72,100.00 USD annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
