About the role
The Data Center Project Manager serves as a technical resource within Amazon data centers. They oversee and review projects involving electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines. The role involves improving space, power, and cooling efficiency through innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and review projects involving electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines
- Identify areas for improvement and act on data provided from other teams and organizations
- Design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to implement, execute, control, and complete projects
- Ensure projects align with company strategy, commitments, and goals
Requirements
- 5+ years of construction or project management experience
- 5+ years of experience managing projects in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure in an operational space
- 5+ years of on-site construction trades (mechanical, electrical, general) vendor management experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or similar technical focus (preferred)
- 5+ years of electrical or mechanical experience (preferred)
- Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, incorporate feedback, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

Base salary range: $111,300.00 - $186,100.00 USD annually
