About the role

The Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team is a project management and execution team that manages construction activity within the operational data center spaces. The CPI team is tasked with critical infrastructure improvement projects to optimize utilization of space, power, and cooling within operational data centers around the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and review all disciplines including electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural.
  • Identify areas for improvement and act on data provided from other teams and organizations.
  • Design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure consistent project direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion.
  • Manage projects in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure in an operational space.
  • Manage on-site construction trades (mechanical, electrical, general).
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction or project management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure in an operational space.
  • 5+ years of experience in on-site construction trades (mechanical, electrical, general).
  • Vendor Management experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or similar technical focus.
  • 5+ years of electrical or mechanical, or 5+ years of data center engineering experience.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, incorporate feedback, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Skills

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, and data center systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

Pay

$111,300.00 - $186,100.00 USD annually
