Dallas – Real Estate mid-level Associate

Hunton’s Real Estate practice group is seeking a full-time, partnership-track mid-level associate to join its thriving Dallas office.

About the role

The ideal candidate will have three to six years of sophisticated commercial real estate experience, including meaningful representation of borrowers and/or lenders in commercial real estate financing transactions. Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, joint venture structures, and other equity transactions is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, document, and close mortgage, mezzanine, and other secured lending transactions
• Manage complex transactions and coordinate closings
• Draft and negotiate principal transaction documents

Requirements

• Three to six years of commercial real estate experience (class of 2023 – class of 2020)
• Texas bar membership preferred; required within one year of joining the firm
• Strong academic record
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and writing skills
• Collaborative approach to the practice of law
