Dallas - Capital Markets Associate (Mid-Level)

About the role

The new Atlanta office of Reed Smith is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior associate to join the Finance team. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 full years and up to 6 years of experience representing financial institutions and corporate borrowers in a variety of complex lending transactions, including acquisition financings, cross-border financings and syndicated credit facilities. Experience in a large law firm is preferred. Candidates must be an active member of the Georgia bar.

Responsibilities

• Represent financial institutions and corporate borrowers in complex lending transactions
• Participate in acquisition financings, cross-border financings, and syndicated credit facilities
• Experience in large law firms is preferred
• Provide general advice and counseling work including employment/separation/restrictive covenant agreements, wage/hour work (e.g., classifications, general compliance) and leave of absence matters, and policy review

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 full years and up to 6 years of experience
• Active member of the Georgia bar

Pay

$235,000 - $390,000. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith’s pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
