Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the ATMC Metrology Equipment area.
- Maintain, repair, upgrade, and monitor wafer fabrication equipment in Metrology, including:
- 4-point probe
- Atomic Force Microscopy
- CDSEM
- CD Verity
- Film Thickness measurement tools (KLA UVxxPIN)
- Defect inspection tools (KLA 8100, SP1, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and other relevant activities.
- Complete documentation and train others on equipment maintenance.
- Communicate effectively using both written and verbal skills.
- Stand for long periods (up to 10 hours) and perform physical tasks such as stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lifting/carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- AS, AAS in electronics or other industrial engineering, or related field (preferred). Equivalent experience may satisfy education requirements.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- AA degree in Electronics or related discipline and 5 years of technical maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Metrology/Defect area equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to interact with Operations and Engineering personnel.
- Solid understanding of SPC and FDC; ability to improve equipment performance based on these controls.
- Ability to interface with internal and external groups to meet safety, performance, and reliability requirements.
