Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the ATMC Metrology Equipment area.
  • Maintain, repair, upgrade, and monitor wafer fabrication equipment in Metrology, including:
    • 4-point probe
    • Atomic Force Microscopy
    • CDSEM
    • CD Verity
    • Film Thickness measurement tools (KLA UVxxPIN)
    • Defect inspection tools (KLA 8100, SP1, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and other relevant activities.
  • Complete documentation and train others on equipment maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively using both written and verbal skills.
  • Stand for long periods (up to 10 hours) and perform physical tasks, including stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lifting/carrying objects up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

  • AS, AAS in electronics or other industrial engineering, or related field (preferred). Equivalent experience may satisfy education requirements.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • AA degree in Electronics or related discipline with 5 years of technical maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Metrology/Defect area equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interact/communicate with Operations and Engineering personnel.
  • Solid understanding of SPC and FDC; ability to improve equipment performance based on these controls.
  • Ability to interface with internal and external groups to meet safety, performance, and reliability requirements.
