Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, upgrade, and monitor wafer fabrication equipment in Metrology (4-point probe, Atomic Force Microscopy, CDSEM, Film Thickness measurement tools, Defect inspection tools, etc.).
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical/electronic systems, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
- Schedule and perform maintenance, consumable changes, and other relevant activities.
- Complete documentation and train others on equipment maintenance.
- Communicate effectively using both written and verbal skills.
- Stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours) and perform occasional stooping and crawling in confined spaces.
- Lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
- Education: AS, AAS in electronics or other industrial engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in the semiconductor industry, including 5 years in the Metrology/Defect area.
- Knowledge: Specific knowledge of maintenance job functions, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and solid understanding of SPC and FDC.
- Skills: Ability to interact with internal and external groups to ensure safety, performance, and reliability requirements are met.
