Cyber Engineer- Radar
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact internally and externally, accountable for the PA IDT system cybersecurity posture, including subcontractor flow down and design solutions.
- Own subcontractor deliverables and be responsible for the review, feedback, and approval of subcontractor design solution compliance to their technical specifications (RMF & NIST controls) and alignment into the Prime design solution.
- Comprehend TEMPEST requirements and ensure proper flow down to subcontractors, acting as design/data owner.
- Ensure Authority to Connect (ATC) & Authority to Operate (ATO) data artifacts are provided by subcontractors, including ACAS Scans, SCAP/SCC/Eval STIG Scans, completed STIG checklists, hardware lists, interconnect diagrams, network config files, ports, protocols, services lists, SAST code scans, product baseline design (CDR) material, POA&Ms for allocated controls, patch plans, and letters of volatility.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Science with 8 years of related experience; Master's degree with 6 years of related experience or PhD with 4 years of related experience.
- Familiarity with Agile terminology and best practices.
- Security + Certification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the DoD secret level; a minimum of an interim secret clearance is required to start.

Work Environment
This role requires working on-site in a brand new building outside of the Arsenal. The position supports the GMD GWS program, offering an engaging work environment focused on cutting-edge defense systems.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
