Radar Engineer

About the role
IERUS Technologies, Inc., is seeking a Radar Engineer to join a diverse and flexible team. The ideal candidate will contribute to projects addressing weapon systems engineering, advanced machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, RF/Optical hardware prototyping, and low-rate production. We apply agile development fundamentals to accelerate technology development timelines, aiming for early discovery, rapid development, and high customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Radar processing, model development, and analysis
- RF static range measurements
- Work with RF defense radar systems
- RCS (Radar Cross Section) predictions
- Digital signal processing (DSP)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming (MatLab, Python, C, or similar)
- Experience with Unix/Linux (considered a plus)
- Familiarity with RCS prediction tools (Xpatch, Cicero, etc.)
- Familiarity with CAD tools for developing RF signature models (Rhino, Cubit, etc.)
