CV Flow Coordinator

Overview

Responsible for coordinating patient flow and the delivery of patient care for patients in CV area during his/her shift, providing clinical care, as needed, serving as a liaison for patients, visitors, families, physicians, other hospital departments, and external ancillary services, communicating patient care, departmental and staff issues to the appropriate authority.

Qualifications

Education

• Associates Degree in health-related field (Required)

Work Experience

• 2 years in a clinical practice with demonstrated clinical competency in Cath lab or EP lab (Required)

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support (Upon Hire, Required)
• ACLS (Upon Hire, Required)
• Current license/certification/registry in the profession in the State of Georgia (Upon Hire, Required)
• Qualifying credentials may be any of the following as appropriate for the area:
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Registered Nurse (RN) (Required)
  • RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Required)
  • RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (Required)
  • Registered Radiologic Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist (RT-CI) (Required)
  • Radiologic Cardiovascular Technologist (RT-CV) (Required)
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiologic Technologist (RT-R) (Required)
  • RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist (Required)
  • NREMT - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians-Basic (Med Tech) National Registered Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (NREMT-P) (Required)
  • Echo Sonographer (Required)
  • RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer (Sonographers may be credentialed through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International) (Required)
  • RCEP - Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist Certification (Required)
