Responsibilities

• Processing customs brokerage for air and ocean shipments
• Data entry and processing of various import-related documentation for submission to U.S. Customs and PGA’s (Participating Government Agencies)
• Follow up on Customs matters and resolve problems
• Answer both customer inquiries and inter-company inquiries
• Classify goods in the harmonized tariff schedule (broad range of commodities)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Customs Brokerage for both air and ocean shipments
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be detail-oriented
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Customs Brokerage software; experience working with Cargowise is a plus
• Must be a team player
