Customer/Vendor Master Data Analyst

About the role

Join our team as an Associate Master Data Analyst and play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the data that drives our business forward. In this role, you’ll support operations by managing, monitoring, and analyzing customer and vendor master data while helping to build automated workflows and processes within our data management platform. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to uphold data governance standards and partner with leadership to deliver projects that enhance data quality and compliance. Responsibilities

• Ensure master data integrity in key systems and maintain processes to support data quality.
• Identify areas for data quality improvements and resolve data quality problems through error detection, correction, process control, or process design strategies.
• Assist in developing and documenting processes with functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and data stewards to document and implement data strategy, policies, controls, and programs ensuring enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
• Analyze and resolve data initiative issues, managing revisions to meet internal and vendor requirements while adhering to published data standards.
• Make independent decisions for resolving data quality problems, collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards.
• Work closely with business/IT to align master data rules and application operations with requirements.
• Assist in executing a formal Data Governance program enterprise-wide.
• Collaborate with organizational SMEs in Foods, Corp, Agribusiness, and other companies to develop standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in Data Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• May require on-call or off-hours availability for projects or break-fix issues.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Annual bonus available, variable depending on performance.

Physical Requirements

• Mostly sedentary role with occasional movement between offices or buildings.
• May require moving light equipment or supplies.
• Access to files, supplies, and equipment.
• Work environment: office, open-partitioned, or cubicle setting.
