Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to support our Project Management and Application teams. This role provides hands-on experience within an OEM environment, assisting with project coordination, resource planning, process improvement initiatives, documentation management, and internal collaboration efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, technology-savvy, and interested in learning how a complex organization supports customers, installations, and operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with resource planning and scheduling activities for customer projects and installations.
  • Support project managers with administrative and coordination tasks throughout project lifecycles.
  • Track project action items, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
  • Absorb post-installation documentation, closeout activities, and record management.
  • Support data collection and reporting for operational metrics and planning processes.
  • Help coordinate communication and collaboration activities across internal departments.
  • Absorb the development, maintenance, and enhancement of SharePoint sites and team resources.
  • Create and update training materials, presentations, and process documentation.
  • Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and process optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to ask thoughtful questions and seek clarification when needed.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Communications, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with SharePoint, website management, or content management systems is a plus.
  • Interest in project management, operations, process improvement, or customer support functions.
