Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to support our Project Management and Application teams. This role provides hands-on experience within an OEM environment, assisting with project coordination, resource planning, process improvement initiatives, documentation management, and internal collaboration efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, technology-savvy, and interested in learning how a complex organization supports customers, installations, and operational excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with resource planning and scheduling activities for customer projects and installations.
- Support project managers with administrative and coordination tasks throughout project lifecycles.
- Track project action items, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
- Absorb post-installation documentation, closeout activities, and record management.
- Support data collection and reporting for operational metrics and planning processes.
- Help coordinate communication and collaboration activities across internal departments.
- Absorb the development, maintenance, and enhancement of SharePoint sites and team resources.
- Create and update training materials, presentations, and process documentation.
- Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and process optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to ask thoughtful questions and seek clarification when needed.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Communications, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience with SharePoint, website management, or content management systems is a plus.
- Interest in project management, operations, process improvement, or customer support functions.
