Customer Service Representative

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigative research to validate claim information and ensure accuracy prior to beneficiary outreach
  • Perform follow-up activities related to claims processing and unclaimed property requirements
  • Contact beneficiaries who have not submitted claims paperwork or completed required documentation
  • Follow up on missing claim requirements and supporting documentation
  • Aid with pre-escheat activities and unclaimed property processes
  • Collaborate with fixed and variable claims processing teams to resolve complex cases
  • Escalate sensitive or complex issues to legal teams and management when appropriate
  • Research, analyze, and resolve non-routine customer inquiries
  • Provide proactive customer service and education to beneficiaries and customers
  • Review and process customer requests while adhering to established policies and procedures
  • Serve as a resource for team members and assist with training or mentoring as needed
  • Participate in team projects, special assignments, and process improvement initiatives

Work Allocation

70% Investigative Research & Claims Review
30% Outbound Calls and Email Communication

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in one or more of the following: Financial Services, Insurance Operations, Claims Processing, Operations Support

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
