Customer Service / Inside Sales
About the role
Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a full-time creative, resourceful customer service representative (CSR) to work on-site at Yuba City, CA. The ideal candidate will provide professional and timely support to the sales team and customers.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Managers to find products and services, solve customer needs, and build ongoing positive business relationships.
- Handle customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting, and returns.
- Sourcing parts as needed.
- Aid in generating sales.
- Assist in the stockroom and deliver orders to customers as required.
Requirements
- 1+ year of customer service or inside sales experience, preferably in an industrial distribution or parts counter environment.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, and a sense of humor.
- Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Computer knowledge, including Excel. SAP/ERP experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).

Pay and Schedule
The typical estimated hourly rate range for this position and location is $20.00 - $21.50/hr, depending on experience. Potential bonus opportunity is tied to location and individual performance and has averaged $50 - $1500 per month. No specific amount is guaranteed.
Schedule
This is a full-time on-site position, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Great work/life balance!
