About the role

We are hiring a full-time, on-site creative and resourceful Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Chula Vista, CA. In this role, you will provide professional and timely support to our sales team and customers. As a leading industrial distributor and Fortune 1000 company, we recognize that our strength comes from our dedicated team. You will play a key part in selling millions of industrial products to a diverse customer base.

This is a full-time, on-site position with a schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering a great work/life balance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and Account Managers to find products and services, solve customer needs, and build ongoing positive business relationships
• Handle customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting, and returns
• Source parts and assist in generating sales
• Help in the stockroom as needed and deliver orders to customers when required

Requirements

• 1+ year of customer service or inside sales experience; mechanical or maintenance experience preferred
• Industrial distribution or parts counter environment experience is a plus
• Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, and a sense of humor
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Mechanical aptitude and computer knowledge, including Excel; SAP/ERP experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR)

This position is not eligible for relocation benefits and must be performed on-site. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for work visas.

Pay

The typical estimated hourly rate range for this position in Chula Vista, CA is $20.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience. Potential bonus opportunities are tied to location and individual performance, averaging $100 – $200 per month. No specific bonus amount is guaranteed.
