About the role

Applied Industrial Technologies offers a friendly, fun work environment with a focus on integrity, inclusion, and career advancement. This role is for a full-time creative, resourceful customer service representative (CSR) based in Denver.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and timely support to the sales team and customers.
  • Partner with Account Managers to find products and services, solve customer needs, and build ongoing positive business relationships.
  • Handle customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting, and returns.
  • Sourcing parts as needed.
  • Aid in generating sales.
  • Assist in the stockroom and deliver orders to customers as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year customer service or inside sales experience, preferably in an industrial distribution or parts counter environment.
  • Industrial distribution or parts counter experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, and a good sense of humor.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Excel. SAP/ERP experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).

The typical estimated hourly rate range for this position and location is $22.00 – 25.00/hr depending on experience.

Schedule

This position is onsite as part of the Denver team, Monday - Friday, 7:30 - 4:30.
