About the role
We are hiring a full-time creative, resourceful customer service representative (CSR) in N. Sioux City, SD. In this onsite role, you will provide professional and timely support to our sales team and customers. Hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers and Account Managers to find products and services, solve customer needs, and build ongoing positive business relationships
- Handle customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting, and returns
- Source parts
- Assist in generating sales
- Help in the stockroom as needed and deliver orders to customers as needed
Requirements
- 1+ year of customer service or inside sales experience; industrial distribution or parts counter environment a plus
- Hydraulic, bearings, or power transmission knowledge preferred
- Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, and a sense of humor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills including Excel
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR)
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Position is not eligible for relocation benefits and must be performed onsite
