Customer Service Engineer - Union 4 - XP - Brooklyn, NY
About the role
Serves as a Customer Service Engineer Union level 4, responsible for servicing Siemens' imaging equipment at customer sites. Manages financial performance, establishes business relationships, and performs administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain Siemens' imaging equipment at customer sites.
- Train operators to ensure optimal system performance.
- Manage financial performance within assigned territory.
- Manage company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
- Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers.
- Perform necessary administrative duties accurately.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or technical degree.
- One to two years of field service experience preferred.
- Proficient in using tools and service test equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography.
- Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record.
Qualifications
- Physical requirements: Lifting 50lbs, walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
Skills
- Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment.
- Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment.
- Ability to work both individually and in an established team setting.
