About the role

Serves as a Customer Service Engineer Union Level 4 in the Siemens Healthineers Service Area – NYC Metro.

Responsibilities

  • Service XP Equipment in the NYC Metro area.
  • Install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites.
  • Deliver timely and effective repairs and adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Manage financial performance within their territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
  • Manage company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
  • Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, perform necessary administrative duties accurately.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma, Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ Years of field service experience is desired.
  • Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment, with the ability to work both individually and in an established team setting.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography; willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification.
  • Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.

Qualifications

  • Lifting 50lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.

Skills

  • Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment.

Pay

The Base Pay Range For This Position Is $0 - $0 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Schedule

Mon - Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - training shift (flex shift after training period)
