Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare service and production part orders based on customer requests.
- Receive customer calls and record issues into the database and initiate corrective action plans.
- Input sales information into various systems.
- Work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
- Deal with upset and demanding customers or field crews.
- Work directly with Engineering to determine errors and resolve field issues.
- Receive calls from building installers regarding job site part components or building drawings.
- Work directly with Regional Sales Managers and customers to get customer service issues properly defined and resolved.
- Respond to customer information requests collaborating with other departments for appropriate responses.
- Answer incoming phone calls and route the caller to the appropriate person or department.
Qualifications
- Functional knowledge of building plans is a plus.
- Must be computer proficient and able to multi-task.
- Should be organized and able to communicate professionally.
- An HS diploma or GED is required; an associates degree is preferred.
- Have 2+ years of customer service experience in a related industry.
