Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Prepare service and production part orders based on customer requests.
  • Receive customer calls and record issues into the database and initiate corrective action plans.
  • Input sales information into various systems.
  • Work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
  • Deal with upset and demanding customers or field crews.
  • Work directly with Engineering to determine errors and resolve field issues.
  • Receive calls from building installers regarding job site part components or building drawings.
  • Work directly with Regional Sales Managers and customers to get customer service issues properly defined and resolved.
  • Respond to customer information requests collaborating with other departments for appropriate responses.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and route the caller to the appropriate person or department.

Qualifications

  • Functional knowledge of building plans is a plus.
  • Must be computer proficient and able to multi-task.
  • Should be organized and able to communicate professionally.
  • An HS diploma or GED is required; an associates degree is preferred.
  • Have 2+ years of customer service experience in a related industry.
