Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing residential and commercial customers
- Conduct account reviews to identify opportunities for system enhancements, upgrades, and additional services
- Promote and sell security, fire, video surveillance, access control, automation, and life safety solutions to existing customers
- Proactively contact customers regarding equipment upgrades, service improvements, and emerging technologies
- Support customer retention efforts by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and strengthening customer satisfaction
- Partner with service, installation, monitoring, and customer care teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within CRM systems
- Stay current on industry trends, product offerings, and emerging technologies
- Follow up on customer inquiries, referrals, and company-generated opportunities
- Help customers maximize the value of their security and life safety investments
Qualifications
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative sales skills
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable working in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and technology-based platforms
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- 2+ years of sales, customer service, account management, or customer retention experience preferred
- Experience in security, technology, telecommunications, home services, or related industries is a plus
