About the role

We’re looking for a professional and customer-focused Receptionist / Front Office Desk Associate to join our team in Saginaw, MI.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist all guests, visitors, and contractors entering the facility.
  • Validate guest access and maintain lobby security procedures.
  • Create a welcoming and professional first impression for all visitors.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for guests, customers, contractors, and employees while helping maintain smooth day-to-day front office operations.
  • Front Office & Reception Support (40%):
    • Answer and direct incoming calls through the main switchboard.
    • Route calls accurately to the appropriate departments or team members.
    • Maintain professional and clear communication with customers and employees.
  • Switchboard & Communication Management (30%):
    • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely communication follow-up.
    • Support customer service functions and internal coordination efforts.
  • Administrative & Customer Support (20%):
    • Absorb and distribute electronic requests, questions, and tasks appropriately.
    • Support departments with administrative support tasks as needed.
  • Additional Responsibilities (10%):
    • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
    • React productively to changing priorities and business needs.
    • Support a positive and team-oriented workplace environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous receptionist, front desk, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Able to remain calm and professional while handling multiple tasks at once.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, preferred.

Qualifications
