About the role
We’re looking for a professional and customer-focused Receptionist / Front Office Desk Associate to join our team in Saginaw, MI.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist all guests, visitors, and contractors entering the facility.
- Validate guest access and maintain lobby security procedures.
- Create a welcoming and professional first impression for all visitors.
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests, customers, contractors, and employees while helping maintain smooth day-to-day front office operations.
- Front Office & Reception Support (40%):
- Answer and direct incoming calls through the main switchboard.
- Route calls accurately to the appropriate departments or team members.
- Maintain professional and clear communication with customers and employees.
- Switchboard & Communication Management (30%):
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely communication follow-up.
- Support customer service functions and internal coordination efforts.
- Administrative & Customer Support (20%):
- Absorb and distribute electronic requests, questions, and tasks appropriately.
- Support departments with administrative support tasks as needed.
- Additional Responsibilities (10%):
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
- React productively to changing priorities and business needs.
- Support a positive and team-oriented workplace environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous receptionist, front desk, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Able to remain calm and professional while handling multiple tasks at once.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, preferred.
