About the Opportunity
The Customer Program Manager is responsible for leading customer projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and timely delivery. This role acts as the central coordinator to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and maintain clear communication among internal teams and customers. It requires managing complex technical implementations involving AI, machine learning, and scientific data within an enterprise software context, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and project success.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end customer implementation projects, pilots, and proof-of-concepts.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and risk strategies.
- Facilitate project kickoffs defining objectives, deliverables, responsibilities, and success criteria.
- Align project priorities, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, remove blockers, and resolve issues promptly.
- Serve as the primary customer contact for project management, maintaining proactive and transparent communication.
- Manage customer expectations balancing business priorities and technical constraints.
- Capture and communicate customer feedback to internal teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional work across account management, engineering, product management, and AI/ML teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Scientific discipline, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years managing enterprise software implementations or technical customer projects.
- Experience leading multiple concurrent customer engagements.
- Proficient with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrids.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into customer-friendly language.
- Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making capabilities.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
- Salary range between $115,000 and $135,000 depending on experience and geographic location.
