Customer Demand Planner
What’s the Job?
Develop and manage customer demand forecasts, inventory replenishment plans, and stock positioning to ensure optimal product availability, service levels, and supply chain performance.
Analyze sales, inventory, and supply chain data to create accurate baseline forecasts, support promotional planning, and improve forecast accuracy for key customers.
Partner closely with Sales, Customer Development, Supply Chain, Operations, and customer stakeholders to execute inventory preparedness, order fulfillment, and compliance with customer service requirements.
Identify demand, inventory, and order management trends; recommend and implement process improvements that enhance customer satisfaction, logistics efficiency, and overall business performance.
Optimize inventory levels and shipment planning by determining ideal stock positions, building cost-effective truckload shipments, and supporting joint business objectives while minimizing supply chain costs.
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business-related fields
- 1-3 years of relevant Logistics, Operations, Manufacturing, or Customer Service experience required
- REQUIRED: Data analysis and reporting with Advanced Excel
- Also, Power BI experience (Helpful, not required)
- Helpful but not required: CPG/Wholesale experience, B2B Customer Facing Experience, Retail HQ experience; some experience with SAP, AMPS, Merlin or other Supply Chain information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
