Customer Account Specialist

As a Customer Account Specialist, you will be the voice of the Customer within IFF, managing the sales order process through shipment and delivery for assigned customers and affiliates.

Responsibilities

• Entering customer orders into SAP, acknowledging and confirming orders back to the customer.
• Managing all aspects of assigned accounts, clearly communicating with the customer, Sales, and other internal teams.
• Tracking order fulfillment progress, running open order reports daily, and proactively communicating exceptions to the customer and management.
• Logging customer complaints via the QM system, processing credits, debits, and RA's in the Dispute Module in a timely manner.
• Maintaining all customer-related master data.
• Providing coverage for co-workers who are out of office.
• Preparing forecasts, safety stock, and inventory information as needed.

Requirements

• Previous Customer Service experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing operations experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, solid problem-solving & decision-making skills.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree.
• A strong working knowledge of SAP and MS Office.

Pay

From $22.38 per hour
