Custodian (TS/SCI with Poly Clearance Required)

About the role

Fluor is a leading government contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-value technical solutions around the world to U.S. government agencies such as the DOE, NNSA, the Department of Defense, and the Intelligence Community. Required Custodians will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining washrooms, office premises, various flooring styles, and common rooms such as break and dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors
• Removing trash and general refuse
• Dusting furniture and fixtures, polishing metal fixtures and/or trimmings
• Cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms
• Performing heavy cleaning duties, such as deep-cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing additional rubbish
• Performing routine equipment maintenance activities (vacuums, custodial hand tools, etc.)
• Notifying management of need for site repairs

Requirements

• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to one (1) year; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
• Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
• Basic computer knowledge (e.g., ability to use email, internet, Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel)
• Local candidates preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located

Schedule

• Weekend shifts available
• May be required to work an occasional weekend day depending on current staffing

Pay

Salary Rate: $25.50/hour + Fringe $4.98/hour. The salary range for this role is $39,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year.
