Custodian - Part Time (Active TS/SCI w/ Poly Required)

Responsibilities
- Vacuuming, mopping, dust mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing floors
- Emptying waste containers
- Low and high cleaning
- Delivering collected refuse to the loading dock
- Performing restroom cleaning and restroom checks
- Cleaning water fountains
- Cleaning fitness centers, showers, and locker rooms
- Cleaning freight and passenger elevators
- Cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors at prescribed heights
- Dusting furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
- Shampooing carpets
- Stripping, sealing, finishing, and polishing floors
- Following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners
- Policing grounds and emptying waste containers
- Assisting with Special Events setups
- Monitoring the building for maintenance, safety, and security issues and reporting any violations to the immediate Supervisor or Management
- Maintaining custodial equipment in a clean, safe, operable condition
- Reporting shortage of supplies and equipment failures to the immediate Supervisor or Management
- Performing other related work as assigned
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Proven experience as a custodian, janitor, or in a similar role
- Knowledge of the use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
- Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
- Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness
- Very good physical condition and strength
- High school diploma is preferred but not required
Qualifications
- A combination of education and directly related experience equal to one (1) year; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Pay
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate's qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role. Salary Range: $43,000.00 - $66,000.00.
