Responsibilities

• Keep facilities fresh, clean, and safe for everyone
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and shine floors
• Take out trash and recycling
• Restock supplies, empty wastebaskets, and replace liners as needed
• Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals
• Sweep and damp mop floors with disinfectant
• Spot clean soiled areas when needed
• Perform general cleaning (restrooms, offices, cafeteria, sales floor, others as assigned)
• Strip and wax floors; wet floor care
• Use equipment such as scrubbers, extractors, and buffers
• Refill all restroom dispensers as needed
• Perform assignments according to company schedule and customer expectations
• Carry out all general required tasks as directed by Lead Custodian or Management

Requirements

Physical requirements: able to lift, carry, push, pull, or move materials up to 50 pounds; perform repetitive physical activities such as bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, squatting, pushing, and pulling regularly; operate small power tools safely and effectively; stoop, kneel, crawl, bend, turn, and reach in areas that may not be fully air‑conditioned; stand and walk for extended periods, including climbing stairs and ladders; work independently and effectively in a fast‑paced or stressful environment. Travel is required.
