Responsibilities

• Keep facilities fresh, clean, and safe for everyone
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces
• Take out trash and recycling
• Restock supplies, empty wastebaskets, and replace liners
• Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals
• Damp mop floors with disinfectant
• Spot clean soiled areas
• General cleaning (restrooms, offices, cafeteria, sales floor, and other assigned areas)
• Strip and wax floors; perform wet floor care
• Use equipment such as scrubbers, extractors, and buffers
• Refill restroom dispensers as needed
• Perform assignments according to company schedule and customer expectations
• Complete tasks as directed by Lead Custodian or Management
• Follow all company policies and safety guidelines

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Perform repetitive physical activities such as bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, squatting, pushing, and pulling
• Operate small power tools safely
• Stoop, kneel, crawl, bend, turn, and reach in non-air-conditioned areas
• Stand and walk for extended periods, including climbing stairs and ladders
• Work independently in fast-paced or stressful environments
