Custodian (Part Time) - 1070

About the role

As a key member of the facility management team, you will maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept office environment. This part-time position is ideal for individuals with 1–2 years of custodial experience who demonstrate exceptional reliability and take pride in creating a consistently clean workspace for employees.

Reporting hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM PT at our Lightcast headquarters in Moscow, Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize offices, common areas, breakrooms (including kitchen area: fridges, dishwashers, microwave), conference rooms, and restrooms
• Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables
• Monitor and replenish cleaning and kitchen supplies (napkins, utensils, plates, paper products)
• Report and assist with minor facility maintenance issues
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a clean, secure, and hazard-free workplace
• Support exterior upkeep, including snow removal and basic weed maintenance as needed
• Complete assigned duties reliably to help maintain a professional, business-ready environment

Requirements

• 1–2 years of custodial experience, preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
• Experience with general cleaning, furniture cleaning, mopping, waste disposal, and sanitization
• Ability to support snow removal, basic weed maintenance, and regularly lift 50+ lbs
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, reliability, and work ethic
• Ability to take direction and work independently
• Ability to manage priorities with minimal supervision
