Custodian (Part time)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Knowledge in maintenance/janitorial tasks
• Problem solving and decision making skills
• Written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Meeting Park Board employment and physical standards, including background check and drug/alcohol screening
• Experience and training demonstrating knowledge, skills, and aptitude to perform defined duties

Compensation

Performance Responsibilities

• Represent the Terri Pines and CPRST brand while greeting visitors and members
• Maintain a professional environment conforming to Terri Pines policies regarding safety and cleanliness
• Maintain safety/maintenance standards consistent with Terri Pines and CPRST Safety Procedures
• Perform general custodial duties in various areas such as restrooms, locker rooms, common areas, offices, pro shop, pool house, and dining areas
• Custodial duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, trash removal, wiping surfaces, cleaning toilets/sinks, and general facility upkeep
• Lift light and heavy objects, climb ladders, and use tools requiring high dexterity
• Maintain appropriate cleaning supplies inventory
• Absorb and assist with event set-up and breakdown, including cleaning between special events
• Show a friendly professional demeanor at all times while serving the needs of all members and visitors
• Attend all required meetings by supervisors
• Maintain professional relationships in line with Terri Pines and CPRST core values and customer service standards
• Work hours may vary, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with hours changing based on time of year, events, and projects
• Show professionalism and integrity at all times
• Show proficiency in written and oral communication
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Physical Demands

• Work performed both inside and outside
• Requires ability to use hand tools and operate a motor vehicle
• Requires working around heights, heavy lifting, and climbing
• Requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and stooping while performing various job duties
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
