Custodian (Full-Time)

Responsibilities

• Clean floors, walls, fixtures, carpets, and restrooms following established procedures.
• Lock and unlock doors; ensure facility security.
• Pick up debris, sweep walkways, and maintain entrances.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor polishers.
• Perform heavy physical labor and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Store equipment and supplies properly.
• Perform special custodial tasks as requested by faculty.
• Develop positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Complete required employment forms and, after training, potentially provide health services.
• Additional duties may be assigned by the principal.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or enrollment in a GED program with demonstrated progress.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and perform physical tasks.
