Custodial Worker NA-02.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas
• Operating industrial equipment to clean rugs, drapes, etc.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, stripping and polishing using light and heavy duty powered equipment
• Performing routine maintenance of equipment
• Cleaning, disinfecting and deodorizing toilet facilities, cleaning, and dusting assigned areas
• Emptying trash
• Moving heavy furniture
• Maintaining stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card required
• Must meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
• One-year probationary period may be required
• Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
• Medical examination required (physical effort includes standing and walking on hard and carpeted surfaces with some bending, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of items/carts weighing up to 20–40 lbs and occasionally over 50 lbs)
• Must meet physical requirements of the position
• Work hours may involve early mornings, weekdays, weekends, holidays and night duty
