Responsibilities
Aid in the creation, upkeep, and modernization of all aspects concerning unit-level training.
- Support the oversight of the upkeep and administration of existing curricula.
- Coordinate curriculum development, revision, and modification efforts with relevant staff.
- Contribute to the development of new curricula and update existing materials.
- Incorporate the Learning Support Officer (LSO) in all stages of curriculum development and maintenance.
- Inform the Curriculum Control Authority (CCA) about any developments or issues affecting project goals and timelines.
- Maintain a comprehensive collection of training materials, including lesson plans, instructor guides, trainee guides, tests, instructional media material (IMM), and electronic media, ensuring they are accessible to the curriculum development team and course supervisors.
- Ensure a master copy of all training materials is stored in the course's Master Training Plan (MTP), which includes the latest approved Training Program Plan (TPP), Letter of Promulgation, Course Outline of Instruction (COI), Training Course Control Document (TCCD), two previous Formal Course Reviews (FCRs), and the approved Testing Plan.
- Ensure instructors under your supervision are using the most current curriculum materials.
- Offer input to curriculum management personnel to keep the Master Record up-to-date.
Qualifications
Must have at least ten years of experience in a Course Curriculum Model Manager role within the past fifteen years.
Must hold a master’s degree in a related field with a strong focus on writing.
