Cultivation Technician I (7:00am-3:30pm)

As a Cultivation Technician I, you will support the Cultivation department through manual labor and plant maintenance, contributing to a mission of providing trusted relief.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, repetitive agricultural work following directions from supervisors
• Work on ladders or elevated platforms for tasks such as netting and trellising cannabis flower plants
• Load cannabis plants and place emitters
• Tuck and spread plants as directed
• Prune and defoliate cannabis plants
• Use PPE in accordance with company guidelines
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag excess plant material to maintain clean grow rooms
• Clean, sanitize, and store all grow room tools and equipment after use
• Perform cross-departmental manual duties as needed
• Complete all other assigned duties

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV)
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
• Ability to handle organic matter daily and wear appropriate PPE (e.g., eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection)
• Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (up to 95 degrees or greater)
• Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
• Ability to work seated or standing for extended periods, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive movements and reaching
• Frequent use of hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, or pinch for task completion
• Entire shift may be spent standing, with repetitive hand, wrist, finger, and elbow movements
• Visual acuity (with or without aids) for reading, computer work, and inspection of small parts/details, including clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night conditions
• Ability to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels in moderate noise environments

Pay

$16.25 per hour
