Cultivation Technician I (6:30am-3:00pm)

This role supports the Cultivation department through manual labor and plant maintenance, ensuring a natural and controlled growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, repetitive agricultural work following supervisor instructions
• Work on ladders or elevated platforms for tasks such as netting and trellising flower plants
• Load plants, place emitters, tuck, spread, prune, and defoliate plants as directed
• Use PPE in accordance with company guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and bagging excess plant material
• Clean, sanitize, and store all grow room tools and equipment after use
• Perform cross-departmental manual duties as needed
• Complete all other assigned duties

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 21 years of age (18 in CT, PA, and WV)
• Must pass a comprehensive background screening
• Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail and punctuality
• Cultivation experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Handle organic matter daily and wear appropriate PPE (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection)
• Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions (95°F or greater) while wearing PPE
• Push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
• Work seated or standing for extended periods, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
• Use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, or pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
• Entire shift may be spent standing; requires repetitive hand, wrist, finger, and elbow movements
• Visual acuity (with/without aids) for reading, computer work, and small-part inspection in day/night conditions
• Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more in varying light conditions
• Verbal communication at conversation levels in moderate noise environments

Pay

$17.00/hour

Schedule

Full-time, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday
