About the role
The Organization Net Community Care is a division of Northeast Treatment Services (NET), a non-profit organization serving the Philadelphia region. As a designated Community Umbrella Agency (CUA) for the Department of Human Services, Net Community Care operates CUA1 and CUA7, providing comprehensive child welfare services focused on safety, permanency, and family well-being. Grounded in trauma-informed care and cultural humility, Net Community Care works to stabilize families, support youth development, and ensure children can grow in safe, nurturing, and permanent homes. Responsibilities
- Meet all weekly and monthly visitation requirements for children receiving in-home and out-of-home services, ensuring compliance with DHS regulations and NCC policies.
- Ensure that safety assessments and service plans are completed accurately and on time along with all Key Performance Indicators set forth by DHS relevant to this role.
- Support families in achieving permanency goals, including successful, timely reunification.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of case activities, including visits and service referrals.
- Collaborate effectively with families, service providers, and the court system to remove barriers to permanency and child well-being.
- Demonstrate consistent engagement with parents and caregivers through coaching, referrals, and support during visitation.
- Achieve or exceed Net Community Care’s benchmarks for child safety, permanency, and family engagement as outlined in performance evaluation criteria.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s level in Human Services, BSW preferred
- Two years case management experience involving youth
- Knowledge of child and family service systems
- Valid Driver’s License (issued by state in which employee lives) and safe driving record and proof of insurance coverage
- Experience with computers beneficial
- Knowledge of social work values and/or child welfare services
