About the Role
Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Handles additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Applies radiologic principles and techniques for optimal procedures, ensuring quality results.
- Develops and implements appropriate procedure and treatment plans according to hospital protocols.
- Completes documentation to adhere to policies and maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, organized condition.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Achieves assigned goals efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience in the specialty area required for CT competencies.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R), with preferred certification in CT (CT).
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Basic computer skills required.
- State licensing as needed; BLS and ARRT(R) certification mandatory; ARRT(CT) preferred.
