CT Technologist (OFNHP) Per Diem, Variable shift
The role is located in The Dalles, Oregon, at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge—a 49-bed hospital with medical offices, home health, and a birthing center serving the Columbia River Gorge community since 1901. The Dalles offers scenic views of the Columbia River, local charm, and a variety of dining and recreational opportunities.
About the role
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. This position is represented by OFNHP.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) (required)
- Advanced Certification in CT (required in OR and HI; preferred in CA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (required)
- Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred in CA and OR)
- Venipuncture certification (preferred in CA and OR)
- ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification (required)
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging from adolescence to geriatric
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images
- Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
- Ensure the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Pay
The estimated base pay for this position is $45.33 to $73.24 per hour. Additional compensation may include differentials, shift incentives, or bonuses. A comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
