CT Technologist (OFNHP) Full Time, Variable Shift
About the role
The Dalles is a picturesque community in the Columbia River Gorge, known for its natural beauty and vibrant downtown area. Adventist Health Columbia Gorge, a healthcare provider with a history dating back to 1901, operates a 49-bed hospital and various medical facilities in the region.
Responsibilities
- Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
- Performs a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Affords patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric with assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating their care.
- Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information.
- Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
- Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education and Work Experience: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)), Advanced Certification in CT, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Fluoroscopy license in state of employment, Venipuncture certification (CA and OR).
- Organizational Requirements: Adventist Health requires all associates to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.

- Experience: No specific experience is required beyond the education and certification requirements.
Skills
- Knowledge of computed tomography (CT) equipment and procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and files.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Pay
The estimated base pay for this position is $45.33 to $73.24 per hour. Additional individual compensation may be available through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc.
Schedule
This position is variable and shifts are 10 hours long.
