CT Technologist - Full Time, Variable Shift

About the role

We are seeking a CT Technologist responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for medical diagnosis. The role includes performing various imaging procedures such as CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy. The technologist assesses, plans, and executes patient care for individuals across different age groups, from adolescents to geriatrics. They are tasked with maintaining accurate records, managing equipment maintenance and calibration, and ensuring image quality and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and other imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Transfer images correctly using PACS and teleradiology systems.
• Maintain detailed records, ensure data integrity, and adhere to confidentiality standards.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory.
• Produce reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT or equivalent).
• Advanced certification in CT required in some states; preferred in others.
• BLS certification from an approved vendor is mandatory.
• Venipuncture certification and fluoroscopy license are preferred or required depending on location.
• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.

All associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons. The organization participates in E-Verify to verify employment eligibility.
