Role Overview: The CT Technologist operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. They perform various imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, ensuring accurate image transfer and record-keeping in compliance with confidentiality regulations. Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across all age groups.Produce high-quality images and reformat images for radiologist review.Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer.Maintain accurate documentation, ensure data integrity, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.Perform routine equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory.Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-RT or ARRT-CT) required.Advanced CT certification required in certain states; preferred in others.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Venipuncture and fluoroscopy licenses are preferred in some locations.Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
